“Being 90% tenanted and offering more than 30 dining experiences alongside a diverse range of lifestyle services, the Nexus development complements our efforts to develop it into the ultimate food and lifestyle destination,” said UOA Group representative Kong Sze Choon.

The rental rates range from RM4 to RM16 per sq ft depending on size, trade and location of the units.

Some of Nexus’ notable tenants include Souled Out, Yumiqi Chinese Cuisine Restaurant, Edo Ichi Japanese Dining, Starbucks, Thirdwave, Chili Expresso, Tenmaya, Nexo Restaurant & Bar, Absolute Fitness, Sunfert International Fertility Centre, Elite House Day Care Centre and Joys Beauty Garden (Dermalogica).

Apart from being a food haven, Nexus boasts a 20,000 sq ft fitness club, a 15,000 sq ft fertility centre, a number of wellness facilities, a home décor store and a preschool.

“Featuring a modern space of more than 300,000 sq ft net lettable area over five levels, Nexus will be a buzzing social hub for diners and visitors alike with its welcoming atmosphere, exciting lifestyle concepts, amenities, services, and ample parking facilities,” said Kong

Nexus is further complemented by Connexion@Nexus, which is a banqueting facility covering 150,000 sq ft of floor space. Connexion@Nexus boasts three pillarless ballrooms that can be combined into the Grand Nexus Ballroom with a seating capacity of over 1,200. There is also four function rooms with over 250 seats per room and suitable for private events such as seminars, a 297-seater auditorium complete with sound and light system that is suitable for a plenary session or theatre production, and an outdoor glass-clad gazebo.

“With Connexion@Nexus, we hope to create a new standard in hospitality where our guests can experience top-notch facilities and outstanding services delivered by our professional in-house banquet team,” said Kong.

At the launch, UOA also held the Bangsar South Charity Walk Together 2014 and raised RM60,000 for Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Perlindungan Teratak Nur Insan, Rumah Victory Children Home and Stepping Stones Living Centre, with each receiving RM20,000.
