As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, UOA held the Bangsar South Charity Walk 2015 in September to raise funds for three charities; namely, Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa, Rumah Kanak-Kanak Angels and Pusat Bantuan Sentul.

Participation response was overwhelming, with more than 1,600 participants taking part in the 3.5km walk around Bangsar South, UOA’s award winning lagship integrated city development.

A total of RM81,000 was successfully raised for the meaningful cause with each of the charities receiving RM27,000 at the mock cheque presentation ceremony, which took place before the start of the charity walk at Nexus, Bangsar South.

The mock cheques were handed over to the three charities’ representatives who also participated in the charity walk together with the children from the charitable homes.
